Today is a long-awaited day for me.
Today is the day when I finally get to tell my story. I've waited a very long time. Then again, there's not much point in telling a story if the story isn't complete yet...
For most people living on this planet, today will be the first day that their eyes have ever fallen upon the scenery of the N. Caucasus Mountains. For me, these spectacular peaks were the first mountains I had ever seen besides those of my native Appalachia, when I found myself being sent there at age 17.
For now, I'll let the 17-minute documentary tell the story. Look for more postings of written word and spoken-word video blogs over the course of the next several weeks...and beyond.
Thank you for joining me in the unveiling of these stories, which have lived in me for so many years. Your appreciation of them is what calls them forth, up and out of me, to be birthed.
Affectionately,
Brad
